Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Lambda Omicron has hosted a variety of successful philanthropy events at Boise State to support our national philanthropy of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. In the past, we have partnered with the Women's Basketball team, tabled in the quad, held an on-campus volleyball tournament, volunteered at the local Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, and hosted a community-wide Bunco for a Cure event. In our most recent semester, we held our first ever Mr. Think Pink competition, hosted a social media campaign, sold over $1,000 in pizza at our Mod Pizza giveback night, wrote 200 letters to survivors, and raised just under $10,000 to be donated towards Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. We are so proud to partner with the strong women (and men) in our community and nation who are battling breast cancer, and will continue to find new and creative ways to raise funds and awareness for the cause.
